CEO & President

Dr. Jaan Sidorov is the CEO and President. He is a board certified general internal medicine physician with over 25 years of experience in primary care, inpatient care, medical education and evidence-based practice. Jaan believes physician leadership throughout the continuum of care is the bedrock of value-based care delivery.

Dr. Sidorov received his Medical Degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire. He also served as a Chief Resident, at Reading Hospital, Reading, Pennsylvania.

Barry Buckingham : Vice President, Information Technology

Vice President, Information Technology

Barry Buckingham is the VP Information Technology. Before joining The Collaborative, he served for three years as Principal Business Consultant at Capital BlueCross, where his team was responsible for the business relationship between the Analytics/Reporting department and the internal customers, government programs, actuarial and underwriting services, legal services, pharmacy marketing, and sales departments. Accustomed to working with complex healthcare data systems and a wide array of stakeholders, Barry also was the Executive Medical Economist for the Office of Medical Assistance Programs, Department of Public Welfare, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for more than seven years. His undergraduate degree is from Lebanon Valley College; he obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Penn State University. His community service includes work as a board member for several organizations and guest lecturer at state and regional universities.

Anita Brazill : Senior Vice President, Business Development

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Anita Brazill is the Senior Vice President, Business Development. She previously served as a Director in the Integrated Account Management (IAM) team of Merck Human Health. With more than 20 years of business-building and population health results, she has led Corporate Communication, Marketing and Business Development teams. Over the last 10 years she helped develop and define strategic business-to-business approaches with large health care systems, accountable care organizations and diverse physician-led groups.

Anita holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Marywood University and has taken graduate courses in the Masters of Public Health program at The Thomas Jefferson University School of Population Health and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Vice President, Care Management & Practice Integration

Diane Littlewood is the VP Care Management & Practice Integration. Before joining The Collaborative, Diane served in a leadership role at Geisinger Health and developed innovative approaches to case management with strategic development and implementation of new care models. She most recently served both as Director, Education and Strategic Partners as well as the Director, Population Health. Her foundational work for the organization included the development, implementation and sustainability of The Advanced Medical Home model, the Keystone ACO, and the creation / expansion of innovative case and disease management roles to support physicians and patients across an integrated healthcare delivery system and independent practices.

Diane holds an RN degree from Hahnemann University, BSN from Misericordia University and MSN from Grand Canyon University. She is also a certified case manager (CCM) and is a frequently requested speaker.

Chief Financial Officer

Bruce Roscher is the Chief Financial Officer. He is an accounting and finance professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial and operational management of medical practices and their ancillary services.

Bruce received his Business Administration degree from Drexel University. He has earned accreditations as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, Certified Management Accountant and Certified Global Management Accountant. He also holds an insurance licensure in Accident and Health, Life and Fixed Annuities.

Johanna Vidal-Phelan, MD, MBA, FAAP : Vice President, Medical Director

A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Vidal-Phelan is an exceptional pediatrician with over fifteen years of clinical experience. Dr. Vidal-Phelan obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College and Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Vidal-Phelan completed her general pediatrics internship and residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital, University of Washington, and obtained a Health Care focused Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University. Dr. Vidal-Phelan is a member of the American Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Vidal-Phelan currently lives in the Central Pennsylvania area with her husband and their two children.

John Pagan, MD, FACS :

John Pagan, MD, FACS

Dr. John Pagan of Grand View Surgical Associates is a fulltime practicing and board certified general surgeon in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. After graduating with honors from the Maryland School of Medicine in 1991, he competed his post-graduate training at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Pagan has a long history of leadership in healthcare, having served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Medical Society Board of Trustees and currently as the Speaker of the Pennsylvania Medical Society House of Delegates. Dr. Pagan continues his distinguished career in organized medicine at both the county and at the national level at the American Medical Association, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in business administration.

Theodore Christopher, MD, FACEP :

Theodore Christopher, MD, FACEP

Dr. Ted Christopher is Professor and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Jefferson University Hospitals. In addition to currently serving as the 168th President of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Dr. Christopher is Thomas Jefferson’s first distinguished endowed Professorship in the Department of Emergency Medicine. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Harvard University, Dr. Christopher graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1981. He completed residencies in internal medicine, at Brown University's Rhode Island Hospital, and emergency medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and became board-certified in both specialties. He is a past president of the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine, the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and Philadelphia County Medical Society.

John Furia, MD :

John Furia, MD

Dr. Furia is a fulltime practicing orthopaedic specialist, serving as a partner in Sun Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Lewisburg Pennsylvania. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Brown University, he attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and pursued his orthopaedic and arthroscopic training at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine. He is President of Pennsylvania’s Union County Medical Society, served as a board member on PAMED’s Penn Med Services Company (PMSCO) and was elected to the Pennsylvania Medical Society Board of Trustees in October of 2017. Dr. Furia has over 40 peer-reviewed publications, and has a distinguished career as a scientific speaker at many national and international healthcare conferences.

Daniel J. Glunk, MD, MHCDS :

Daniel J. Glunk, MD, MHCDS

Dr. Glunk is a board certified general internal medicine physician who is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and served as President of the Pennsylvania Medical Society in 2009. He is a graduate of Wilkes University and the Hahnemann University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at University Health Center of Pittsburgh and also completed a Fellowship at Shadyside Hospital. In addition to his patient service at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport PA, Dr. Glunk is that organization’s Chief Quality Officer, where he has helped catalyze that organization’s recognition for service at both national and state levels. Dr. Glunk earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Delivery Science from Dartmouth College and sits on the Board of Directors for the PA Patient Safety Authority.

Bindukumar Kansupada  MD, FACC, FCCP, MBA :

Bindukumar Kansupada MD, FACC, FCCP, MBA

Dr. Kansupada is a cardiologist living in Yardley Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Drexel University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and practiced for close to 40 years in multiple hospitals including Lower Bucks Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center. Dr. Kansupada is a widely recognized expert in lean practice management, quality control, and systems engineering to drive improved healthcare efficiency. His healthcare leadership led to his appointment to the Pennsylvania Advisory Council under Governor Corbett and State Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick. He has maintained Patron membership with the AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) and presently serves as a member of the Pennsylvania Board of Trustees for that organization’s International Medical Graduate Section.

Dawn Tice, RN, BSN, MBA :

Dawn Tice, RN, BSN, MBA

Ms. Tice is the Executive Director, Practice Performance & Quality at Main Line HealthCare. Ms. Tice received her formal clinical training as a registered nurse at West Chester University and completed her master’s degree in business at Eastern University. She is an accomplished leader in quality improvement, patient safety, ambulatory quality, patient-centered practice and population health management. She has worked at Penn Medicine as the patient safety officer, as a quality improvement consultant for the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physician Foundation in Harrisburg, and one of three Quality Improvement in Practice coaches supporting practice transformation for state-wide practices participating in Pennsylvania’s Chronic Care Initiative. Her expertise has led to her be a frequently sought-after speaker across the country, lending her expertise and practical approaches to topics such as implementation of patient-centered medical home, chronic care models, population health, and transitions of care.

Martin Raniowski, MPP :

Martin Raniowski, MPP

Mr. Raniowski is the Executive Vice President of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, where he previously served as its Senior Vice president for Policy and Programs. Mr. Raniowski is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Masters Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Public Policy and Political Science. He has a distinguished career in healthcare policy, with experience as Policy Analyst in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, a Senior Director in the American Heart Association and as Deputy Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Health.
